FanDuel is looking for a Vice President of Marketing Technology & Operations to lead our martech, media operations, CRM operations, & search engine optimization teams. In this role, you will be a strategic leader overseeing the marketing technology strategy for all the FanDuel Group verticals. Responsibilities include leading the strategy, trafficking, tagging, & automation of CRM campaigns, media placements, search discoverability, & promotions.. 

The Vice President will be an expert on industry best practices & innovations - & evangelizes these throughout the Marketing team & the broader company to produce seamless customer experiences & drive business KPIs. This is a highly visible leadership role in the Fanduel organization.

Everyone on our team has a part to play

  • Define & own the Enterprise MarTech strategy to create a modern marketing organization including with a key focus on marketing technology, advertising & data management
  • Lead a team of professionals that focus on key strategic capabilities that enable marketing to our prospects & customers across business verticals
  • Own the strategy of the MarTech stack & drive an innovation roadmap for short-term & long-term capability enhancements to deliver personalized experiences
  • Set the vision for marketing capabilities & anticipate future needs to plan & execute enablement, integration or building of new tools & processes
  • Work with platform & data specific architects to design complex cross-channel solutions that involve the integration of various Marketing Technology platforms (Digital Messaging/Campaign Management, Database, CMS, Web Analytics, Decisioning, Personalization, Identity Management, CDP, & Business Intelligence platforms)
  • Thought leader for key strategic, cross-platform marketing initiatives (personalization, automation, etc.)
  • Develop strong relationships with cross functional teams driving effective collaboration across marketing, architecture, technology, & product
  • Develop, execute, & present SEO strategies to senior leadership to identify areas of opportunity to drive the organic search program forward
  • Manage publication of search optimized content, identify new content opportunities, & measure content performance
  • Produce quantitative reporting & qualitative insights for senior stakeholders
  • Evaluate & improve current SEO processes & opportunities & manage project workflows across multiple LOBs

What we're looking for in our next teammate

  • 10+ years in B2C Marketing Technology
  • Ability to bridge business & technical requirements to provide a cohesive, seamless solution to scale & perform
  • Ability to develop a viable, scalable, & integrated technology blueprint across all areas of marketing technology with feasible technology choices that meet business requirements & fit in with existing technology
  • Ability to wear multiple technology hats across systems integration, technology consulting, & technology solution design & architecture
  • Experience in leading large-scale technology implementations including understanding of scoping, estimation, & managing timeline/budget
  • Hands-on delivery experience with major MarTech vendors experience with Segment & Braze preferred
  • Experience working with Data Solutions & CDP
  • Knowledge of sports and/or experience working within a heavily regulated industry is a plus
