As a Fantasy Sports Operational Excellence Manager, you will lead key strategic cross-functional projects critical to the improvement of the Fantasy Sports business. You will support the companys strategic planning process, ongoing measurement of performance against company goals, & analyze opportunities for further improvement of the Fantasy Sports team performance. You will be responsible for optimizing processes of various business & operations teams to improve both the internal stakeholder & customer experience. As a member of the Fantasy Sports Commercial Team, this role will provide the opportunity to work across all aspects of the business.

Everyone on our team has a part to play

  • Responsible for creation, execution & aftercare of improvement projects within various parts of the fantasy business
  • Analyze & recommend improvements to existing processes across various teams including but not limited to Marketing, Product Operations, Customer Operations, & Financial Risk Operations
  • Identify opportunities that will benefit customers to drive standardization, optimization, automation & profitably
  • Establish best ways of working cross functionally with the Revenue & Strategy & the broader operations teams
  • Provide stakeholder input on development of product & backend features including recommendations on roll-out processes
  • Work closely with internal stakeholders to understand the needs of each department on a regular basis
  • Identify & achieve opportunities for cost synergies & savings
  • Support strategic planning process & ongoing measurement of performance against strategic OKRs
  • Prepare materials for business reviews & operational planning meetings
  • Contribute to ensuring key meetings have high impact on organization alignment & overall results
  • Opportunity to manage or mentor more junior members on the Operational Excellence Team

What we're looking for in our next teammate 

  • 5+ year experience in operational excellence/operations/commercial/customer intelligence preferred
  • Well-organized & excellent attention to detail
  • Experience in managing complex & sensitive operational challenges
  • Competency in data related to business improvement metrics & operational performance
  • Strategic mindset that takes a long-term view & anticipates future trends & implications
  • Collaborative worker with strong interpersonal skills
  • Solution-oriented & able to define problem statements & required outcomes based on cost benefit analysis linked to business objectives
  • Effective verbal & written communication skills used in working across all levels of the organization
  • Familiarity with project management tools such as JIRA, Confluence, & Asana preferred
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office
  • Experience in online business fantasy sports or sports betting preferred
  • Passionate about sports and/or gambling preferred
