CareDox is hiring an Accounting Clerk to perform clerical duties & ensure accuracy of financial records. The successful candidate will be responsible for reconciling accounts payable & receivable accounts, balancing department budgets, processing payments, ensuring prompt payment of invoices & developing & maintaining a comprehensive financial filing system for our firm.

The CareDox team is working hard to drive world-class health outcomes for American public schools districts through health technology & preventative care.

You Will:

  • Enter & balance accounts receivable & payable on a daily basis
  • Enter expenses correctly coded in the accounting system
  • Ensure expense accrual are properly calculated & recorded
  • Be the Finance Department liaison for any requests from employees, vendors or customers
  • Track deposits made to bank & handle deposit transfers
  • Assemble financial data for audits
  • Monitor credit card charges, payment discrepancies, refunds, returns & miscellaneous charges
  • Maintain orderly financial filing system
  • Reconcile department accounts monthly & prepare reports to present to management
  • Track tax payments & compile information for tax filing
  • Assist with implementation/roll out of all accounting system (Ex. Concur, Netsuite, etc)
  • Manage Company credit card program
  • Assist with other accounting projects in the office

You Are:

  • Able to handle competing demands from all stakeholders & prioritize their needs
  • Comfortable working in a fast paced environment that will consistently challenge you
  • An excellent multi-tasker, detail oriented, creative at problem solving, & eager to solve challenging problems.
  • A strong communicator (excellent verbal & written skills)

You Have:

  • 2+ years experience in an accounting position
  • Associate Degree in Accounting required (Bachelors Degree in Accounting preferred)
  • Strong knowledge of MS Office & QuickBooks
  • Excellent communication & administrative skills
  • Exceptional organization & time management skills
  • Ability to meet all assigned deadlines
  • Experience with bank reconciliation & tracking credit card transactions
  • Experience with tools that help analyze users behavior & plan product features
