The Senior Manager, Business Development Travel & Hospitality, will play a foundational role in expanding the adoption of CLEARs Digital Identity solutions across a network of hospitality partners. This individual will build external relationships & drive cross-functional internal teams, putting structure to complex, cutting-edge problems. Were looking for a customer-centric, creative, metrics-driven self-starter who is obsessed with the art of the possible & relentless execution to join us in driving the impact of our platform.

What You Will Do:

  • Identify & build proactive pipeline of Travel & Hospitality partnership opportunities that will be transformative for CLEARs growth trajectory; evangelize the value of the Travel Ribbon, unlocking revolutionary experiences for consumers no matter where life takes them
  • Deeply understand nuances of CLEARs product as well as potential partners challenges & needs, framing CLEARs value proposition in the most impactful ways for key partner stakeholders across business, product, & other functions
  • Manage relationships at the most senior levels of partner companies & lead complex deal negotiations aimed at establishing the foundation for a strong working relationship with our partners, including sustainable economics for both parties
  • Support the broader team with marquee partnership deals & Travel & Hospitality strategy (including market fit analysis, industry research, collateral management, & more)
  • Work with Product, Program & Engineering to appropriately manage execution timelines & resourcing to ensure successful partnership implementation, including informing our product roadmap in a way that drives continuous topline growth & deeper engagement & utilization
  • Experience with extended sales development cycles & ability to pace conversations accordingly
  • Review, & analyze client, market data, & industry research & build decks for pitch & other client meetings

Who You Are:

  • 5-7+ years professional experience including business development, sales and/or strategic partnerships, ideally with prior experience at a market-leading organization with a focus on innovation & growth 
  • Dexterity interfacing with a complex array of stakeholders at partner companies across functions including c-suite, product, technology, privacy, security, marketing & finance 
  • A self-starter with a strong sense of urgency whos excited to experience a start-up in hyper-growth
  • Sense of humility & a desire to roll up your sleeves
  • Mission-centric, fast learner who can quickly get up to speed on identity-related products & problems, as well as technical concepts like SDK & API integrations
  • Experience project managing & being the point of contact to business
  • Prior experience in or excitement/passion for Travel & Hospitality industry a plus
  • B.S. or B.A. or equivalent experience
