Job Description:

The Director of Talent Acquisition will be responsible for building a best in class talent function for a fast paced high growth Tech company. In doing so this individual will manage end-to-end recruiting efforts for all levels across the US. This person will serve as a key member of the HelloFresh HR leadership team & will be an influential leader in HR & TA. The Director of Talent Acquisition, reporting to the SVP, People, will be highly data-driven with a focus on developing a progressive & dynamic team of talented recruiting professionals across multiple US locations.

You will:

  • Leverage your well developed network to bring outstanding talent to the organization
  • Develop best-in-class TA strategies & methods in executive, campus & diversity recruiting, referral programs, & internal hiring processes
  • Consult regularly with senior executives to thoroughly understand talent needs to successfully deliver against the organizations vision, long term strategy & annual goals taking into account acquisitions new verticals & organic growth
  • Develop a TA structure that scales with business, anticipating growth & demands
  • Develop strategies & processes to ensure candidates love their HelloFresh experience throughout the recruiting & onboarding process
  • Build a compelling employee value proposition & brand in partnership with HR leadership colleagues
  • Leverage data & insights to build effective relationships with business leaders to ensure alignment of the recruitment process with business needs
  • Collaborate in an agile fashion with HR peers, hiring managers & senior leaders in a productive way that manages expectations, sets service level agreements & keeps all parties to a hire engaged
  • Drive workforce planning across all locations, including corporate offices, field & multi-unit locations to bring talent in by methodically forecasting the organizations needs
  • Steer the use of external search firms to supplement internal recruiting efforts, including building & managing search firm relationships to maximize the impact of collective efforts
  • Build robust talent pipelines that tap into targeted universities, companies, regions & technical communities in alignment with business objectives
  • Lead & motivate a team of TA professionals by developing productivity metrics, goals, & efficiencies of the hiring process.
  • Engage & inspire the team by providing leadership & direction to continue to advance the function
  • Develop team members through ongoing opportunities for professional development, mentorship & coaching
  • Share knowledge, strategy, direction & best practices within the team, as well as broadly within the organization across the US & Global, to ensure that TA is a highly effective & valued partner to the business
  • Educate leadership & the broader organization on best in class recruiting practices, building a culture of mutual investment & focus on talent acquisition
  • Develop & execute a service level agreement with the organization that is achieved through an end to end process review

At a minimum you have:

  • BA/BS Required; MBA Preferred
  • A minimum of 8 years recruiting at various levels in a corporate or agency environment, preferably both
  • 3+ years people management experience; preferably extensive experience leading a dynamic Recruiting Team in a high growth organization
  • A track record of designing & implementing successful & creative TA programs
  • Current knowledge of related government rules & regulations, including local & state laws
  • Executive recruiting experience with prior experience interfacing with an executive team
  • Strong technical, managerial, & team building skills with the ability to balance tactical & strategic responsibilities
  • Proven ability to inspire & engage a team to perform beyond their assumed capacity
  • The ability to build strong relationships & to influence & motivate people to desired outcomes
  • Demonstrated experience creating & streamlining scalable recruiting programs & using metrics to measure results
  • Measurable evidence of proactively building a strong employer brand
  • Ability to work at multiple levels, with a high sense of urgency coupled with the ability to remain flexible & creative within a dynamic environment
  • Worked in a fast-paced, high growth company
