The focus of the Chief Information Officer (CIO) will be to own systems architecture & implementation, internal tools & IT infrastructure. This includes overseeing all aspects of Vimeos information technology (IT) strategy & operations as well as our corporate technology & ERP systems. Your team will lead large scale integration initiatives, system production support & testing, & IT protocols that enable Vimeo employees to do their work. This role will report into our COO & ensure that our infrastructure, systems, & processes are reliable & aligned with business objectives.
What youll do:
- Develop & implement an overall IT & internal tools strategy that aligns with the company's goals & objectives.
- Oversee the company's IT operations, including hardware & software procurement, network & infrastructure management, & application development & maintenance.
- In partnership with Vimeos CISO & security team, operationalize directives to ensure data security & privacy.
- Ensure Vimeos IT systems are reliable, scalable, & that they meet the needs of our customers, employees, & other stakeholders.
- Oversee data architecture design decisions to create end to end data solutions that enable easy, accurate reporting across various systems.
- Own enterprise level data modeling, data integrations, & data normalizations across complex & disparate business systems.
- Lead IT efforts to monitor, troubleshoot, & remediate employee hardware, software, & network incidents, implementing protocols for future avoidance.
- Ensure operational excellence & help create processes & documentation when needed.
- Communicate with relevant stakeholders, senior management, & other executives regularly on priorities, status updates, potential risks, & emergent issues.
- Manage a budget optimizing for investment in people, process & tools with impact to our employees & customers.
- Stay abreast of developments in technology & the broader industry, & identify opportunities for the company to leverage new technologies to improve its products & operations.
Skills & knowledge you should possess:
- 10+ years of experience across systems architecture, infrastructure, internal tools/vendors, & IT
- 5+ years of experience managing & growing teams
- Degree in Computer Science, relevant technical field, or equivalent professional experience
- Saas experience
- Global company experience
- Familiarity with SOX control management
- Demonstrated success building & leading teams that work across the company to improve operations.
- Familiarity with some of our 3rd party systems - Oracle Cloud ERP, Salesforce, Blackline, Zuora, Tray.io, etc - is preferred but not required
Targeted Base Salary Range: $207,000 to $302,000
The base salary range listed above is for candidates located in the U.S., including the New York City metro area.
