Role Overview:

As a Senior Technical Product Manager, you will help lead a core set of infrastructure services that powers Autolist. You will be part of a team who collaborates closely with internal stakeholders to deliver products & systems that directly impact the success of the entire engineering organization. You will work closely with engineering, marketing, & business operations to seek & build solutions to important & difficult problems within the automotive shopping experience. We believe in autonomy, self-motivation, pride of ownership, & team collaboration to help make Autolist & CarGurus the largest automotive marketplace in the world.

Responsibilities:

  • Use your technical knowledge to drive scalable & high-performance infrastructure architectures that empower teams & make more developers more effective
  • Co-own the teams vision & roadmap; generate buy-in & facilitate cross-functional collaboration with a wide range of technical stakeholders
  • Drive superb execution against plan, anticipating staffing needs, risks, & the need for frequent & clear communication internally & with partners
  • Work with key stakeholders in product management & executive teams to define strategy & requirements
  • Evaluate product usage data to create & enhance various product offerings
  • Create & manage a range of technical projects across the company

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors or Degree in Computer Science or related technical field or equivalent technical experience
  • An outcome-driven attitude with technical knowledge in infrastructure architecture, systems, & security
  •  4+ years of product management experience, including experience working with product developers
  • Bias for execution; you focus on defining the right MVP, making difficult trade-offs, & shipping effective features
  • Experience researching & defining technical requirements for complex projects
  • Ability to analyze data from a variety of sources to identify key insights, pinpoint optimization opportunities, & inform product decisions
  • Detail-oriented mindset; you believe that a great product is the sum of an inordinate number of small, thoughtful decisions
  • Experience with SQL, APIs, Data Pipelines, Google Analytics, Snowflake
  • Solid grasp of technical SEO, Ads & Lead Generation
