The Opportunity:Title: Senior Financial Reporting Manager Department: Accounting Location: New York, NY (Hybrid) Reports to: Associate Director, Financial Reporting The Senior Financial Reporting Manager will report to the Associate Director, Financial Reporting & will be assisting in the preparation of the financial sections of IAC/InterActiveCorp's Securities & Exchange Commission reports, including quarterly & annual reports on Form 10-Q & Form 10-K, as well as quarterly earnings releases including supplemental financial information & other Form 8-K & Form 11-K filings as needed. Additionally, this position will assist in technical accounting research as required & ASC 842 lease accounting. This position partners with IAC's global consolidation & corporate accounting teams & the accounting organizations of the various operating businesses to support IAC's, Angi's, & Dotdash Meredith's external reporting processes ensuring the integrity of the financial statements, applicable financial statement analysis & other supporting documentation.Responsibilities:
- Assist in the preparation of IAC's quarterly earnings press release, Form 10-Q & Form 10-K, including preparation of notes to the financial statements & related analyses.
- Support the global consolidated financial close & reporting process, working closely with the operating businesses & corporate accounting, including preparation of certain analyses & review of financial reporting packages submitted by corporate accounting & the operating businesses.
- Working with the SEC reporting team, assist with the preparation of the consolidated financial statements, including the balance sheet & statements of operations, comprehensive operations, shareholders' equity & cash flows; notes to the consolidated financial statements; & all financial sections of SEC filings, including Management's Discussion & Analysis.
- Prepare the financial sections of the quarterly earnings release & supplemental financial information required by Investor Relations & internal management.
- Perform research & analysis on SEC & technical accounting issues to determine appropriate accounting treatment & related financial disclosures.
- Assist with the preparation & filing of the Company's Form 11-K.
- Foster an environment of continuous improvement focusing on streamlining, improving & automating processes.
- Ensure SOX compliance by adhering to internal control requirements, updating documentation & providing recommendations as appropriate.
- Perform other ad hoc analyses, projects, & research technical accounting matters as required.
Qualifications:
- 3-4 years of Big 4 Public Accounting experience plus 4-5 years of experience in private accounting with SEC financial reporting experience. Overall, this candidate should have a minimum of 7 years of combined experience.
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting.
- CPA required.
- Must be current on quarterly & annual U.S. GAAP & SEC financial reporting requirements.
- Proficient in MS Office.
- Experience with Workiva (Wdesk) & XBRL is strongly preferred.
- Knowledge of Hyperion Financial Management (HFM) software a plus.
- Self-starter capable of working independently as well as working effectively as part of a team.
- Attention to detail & accuracy is a must.
- Highly organized with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment managing multiple projects in a timely manner.
- Outstanding written & oral communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively to different levels of the organization.
