We are looking for a Senior Director to lead the Brand & Market insights team at FanDuel. Responsible for the strategy & execution of our customer & market insights program, this role will work with multiple teams across all verticals to drive strategy & analyze performance. The ideal candidate has experience working with world class brands in competitive markets, is passionate about the consumer experience, & is able to articulate insights clearly to range of audiences. 

Reporting to the VP Product Marketing & Brand Strategy, this is an impactful role that will help shape the long term strategic direction of our marketing & brands.

Everyone on our team has a part to play

  • Create & manage a program of work that delivers meaningful insight to teams working across Sportsbook, Fantasy, Racing, Casino & Free to Play verticals
  • Build relationships with internal & external research partners to ensure the business is using best practice to uncover insights
  • Manage relationships with marketing teams to understand & generate research programs to fulfill their needs
  • Drive an understanding of the importance of customer generated insight throughout the business
  • Establish regular reporting of market & competitive trends, identifying opportunities & threats across the business
  • Elevate the awareness & use of consumer insights as a starting point for strategy development & decision making
  • Supply regular insights to the business that generate discussion & facilitate strategic & operational decision making
  • Serve as a key leader contributing to the development & growth of the Insights team, sharing best practices & mentoring team members 

What were looking for in our next teammate

  • 10+ years of experience managing brand research on either a client or agency side preferred
  • Background in establishing an ongoing program of work designed to cater to a large businesses insights requirements
  • Proven ability to cut through noise & identify relevant & compelling insight
  • Extensive knowledge of the latest trends in generating consumer insights
  • Ability to work at pace when required, while also being able to step back & work on macro projects
  • Brilliant interpersonal & presentation skills you engineer trust, respect can tailor your approach to the situation & audience
  • An inspiring leader, you care about the development of individuals & the team that you lead
