Technical Mentor, Software Development (TMSD)
Position: Leverage knowledge of data structures, algorithms, & design patterns to write software for a distributed web application & mobile environment, radiating best practices & faster development. Apply solid technical understanding in specific technology layer or product area, providing effective code. Use 15-20% of time to provide technical leadership for the professional growth & development of 1-3 junior software engineers. Provide direct 1:1 mentoring to improve their skills in a specific technology layer. Handle general HR management responsibilities including time off approval, communication of raises & bonuses, performance reviews.
Requirements: BS in Computer Science or related + min. 5 years of exp. in software development with at least 2 years as SE2, SE3, SSE.
