What We Need:

Yieldmo is seeking a Financial Reporting Manager with in-depth knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles, proficiency in accounting research, & strong motivation to contribute to the achievement of an accurate & efficient close & financial reporting process. This role will involve accounting research, documentation, & implementation of new accounting policies, including providing guidance & training on new accounting pronouncements to all relevant stakeholders. Additionally, the Financial Reporting Manager will assist in the preparation of  internal & external financial reports, including management discussion & analysis of business trends. This role will report directly  to the VP of Financial Operations

Responsibilities: 

  • Help to draft Yieldmos annual & quarterly financial statements & related footnote disclosures in accordance with the requirements specified under U.S. GAAP & by the SEC
  • Assist with the preparation of ad-hoc SEC filings, as necessary
  • Assist with helping to prepare & maintain financial statements supporting documentation & audit support workpapers
  • Assist with the preparation of internal management reports
  • Draft accounting technical memos with accounting guidance research & conclusions
  • Monitor new accounting pronouncements & SEC disclosure requirements
  • Manage & coordinate financial support aspects of special projects related to new business ventures such as an acquisition. Assist with consolidation & purchase accounting
  • Assist with monthly, quarterly & annual close procedures
  • Assist on ad-hoc projects that arise such as systems implementation or transaction support

Requirements: 

  • BA/BS in Accounting or Finance or relate field
  • CPA strongly preferred but not required
  • Minimum 4 years of Big 4 or equivalent experience at a regional audit firm or corporate accounting team
  • Experience with the preparation of consolidated financial statements, including being familiar with disclosure rules & requirements
  • Strong technical understanding of US GAAP
  • Strong verbal & written  communication skills
  • Willingness to learn,  take on new responsibilities, & a can do attitude
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ad-tech, Mart-Tech or other technology start-up experience a plus
