Your role as the Business Analyst is to build strong connections with a range of stakeholders, from field operators to executive management, cutting through critical business problems with 80/20 cross-functional solutions. Youre resourceful, nimble, efficient & laser-focused on outcomes & KPIs. For each initiative, you visualize what success looks like & do whatever it takes to drive it to completion.

How youll help us to be successful 

  • Work with business teams to design reports & dashboard that convey information simply & cleanly, with a focus on the key drivers
  • Diagnose complex problems, develop data driven recommendations & execute those initiatives & generate new ideas for growth
  • Streamline existing reporting & data sets using VBA & macros to automate outputs
  • Understand the data & analytics needs of business teams; define requirements & scope new reporting in conjunction with the data team 
  • Present complex data in simplified ways; prepare materials for executive & external audiences that distill complex data analyses into clear messages
  • Train users within the business teams to ensure accurate consumption of data & analysis 
  • Identify key drivers; tie operational levers (actions) to outcomes (data impact)

Who you are

  • 5+ years experience from a top-notch consulting firm, private equity firm, and/or business/strategic operations group 
  • Advanced excel skills, proficiency with Macros, BI tools (Looker, Mixpanel, PowerBI, Tableau) & Presentation Software (Powerpoint/Slides) 
  • Strong project management & communication skills 
  • Business-savy with experience working with operations, sales and/ or marketing teams 
  • Experience in a role that requires financial, data, or business analytics
  • Has used or willing to learn more Advanced tools (Hive, Pandas, R, Jupyter, SQL)
