ENTERPRISE SALES DEVELOPMENT REPRESENTATIVE
Fastly is looking for top-performing sales professionals who are passionate about an extraordinary work environment & are motivated to exceed expectations & advance their career in B2B software sales. Your efforts directly contribute to Fastlys top-line revenue growth. As a SDR, you are responsible for uncovering, sourcing, educating, nurturing & developing sales leads into qualified opportunities from key accounts that will close & add to Fastlys growing customer base.

The ideal candidate has a proven track record of exceeding sales quota, loves the thrill of the hunt, & is capable of building & growing the pipeline of the business. They also have experience navigating through organizations, doing deep discovery & speaking to multiple decision makers.

What you'll do:
The SDR works with Fastly Sales & Solution Architects to meet or exceed assigned Fastly revenue goals.
Drive Fastlys growth through outbound prospecting efforts, generating high quality sales leads that will turn into opportunities & closed business.
Educate & develop leads through outbound prospecting via phone calls, emails, social media, events & campaigns.
Prospect into an Enterprise target account list ranging from the Global 5000 to Fast growing tech organizations; forming relationships with First Line Developers to C-Level executives.
Identify & develop an in-depth understanding of each lead generation process, supporting marketing activities, prospect touch-points & the handoff to an Account Executive.
Develop & maintain territory & daily plans to maximize & leverage phone time, including pre-call planning, adhering to territory hours & metrics, & customizing scripts to market segments & prospect type.
Use Salesforce.com to track activity & update account/contact information.
Be tenacious. Conduct value add follow-up calls & emails until meetings are set.
Consistently exceed monthly, quarterly & annual sales quota & be well-compensated
for doing so.

At a minimum what were looking for:
Bachelors degree
1-2 years of full-time corporate sales experience (software sales is a plus).
Proven track record of success prospecting for new business.
Ability to understand customer requirements & identify business challenges that Fastly can
solve.
Not afraid to pick up the phone & call your customers.
Not afraid to ask questions until a thorough understanding is achieved.
Intellectually curious & with keen interest in customers & technology.
Proven track record achieving measurable goals/ quotas.
Adaptable, professional, courteous, motivated with a strong work ethic.
Ability to identify & resolve problems in a timely manner; develop alternative solutions.
Proven ability to manage territory & execute outbound prospecting strategies.
