Product Manager (Jet.com, Hoboken, NJ)
Create vision & determine short & long term product strategy for Cart, Checkout, & Delivery parts of the customer shopping journey. Own & prioritize the feature backlog ensuring alignment with the larger Jet.com product roadmap. Conduct competitive research & study industry trends for the product area. Lead discovery work for new features with UX design, research, engineering & business. Partner with research & Customer Care to understand customer pain-points & use learnings to influence the product roadmap. Lead end-to-end product development & ensure features are usable & optimized across web, mobile, & native app platforms. Write user stories that define the requirements, designs, edge/test cases, & acceptance criteria for new features. Lead daily stand-ups, sprint retrospectives, & sprint demo ceremonies for a cross-functional squad of engineering & design. Partner with engineering to gain technical sign-off & execute the requirements. Conduct user acceptance testing & end-to-end QA testing. Define & monitor key performance indicators to measure performance of product area. Collaborate with Experimentation teams to initiate & design A/B tests that improve conversion rates & drive company metrics. Create training material for Customer Care teams & address customer issues & prioritize fixes. This position does not supervise employees.
Minimum Requirements: Masters degree or the equivalent in Computer Science, Business Administration, Information Systems, or related field & 2 years of experience in product management, business consulting, or analytical business role; OR Bachelors degree or the equivalent in Computer Science, Business Administration, Information Systems, or related field & 5 years of experience in product management, business consulting, or analytical business role. Demonstrated knowledge of core Computer Science concepts. Experience with Data collection, extraction, & analysis using SQL. Experience working with & testing APIs. Experience with Wireframing & interactive prototyping using design tools including Sketch, Balsamiq, Invision. Experience with Agile software, JIRA. Experience with Scrum duties, including sprint planning, sprint reviews & retrospectives. Employer will accept any amount of experience with the required skills.
