We are looking for a Payroll & Benefits Manager that will manage the payroll to ensure smooth operation of all payroll matters as well as manage Benefits & vendor relationships. Reporting directly to the Payroll & Benefits Director, the candidate will be involved in a wide range of duties.     

Everyone on our team has a part to play

  • Manage the payroll policies, processes, & administration across multiple operating companies
  • Ensures accurate & timely processing of payroll updates including new hires, terminations & changes
  • Oversee & ensure the accuracy of the calculation of wages, tax withholding, & deductions associated with payroll and/or benefits
  • Drive payroll system efficiencies & streamline processes, moving toward automation
  • Supervise & coach payroll team
  • Ensure compliance with relevant laws & internal policies
  • Administer employee benefits programs such as medical, dental, vision, life, disability, 401k & voluntary benefits for all employees
  • Lead auditing efforts of company benefit programs to ensure regulatory compliance
  • Ensure the payroll system operates correctly, & all interfaces with general ledgers, accounting systems, benefit carriers, & other HR systems are accurate
  • Partner with brokers & other third party vendors for timely filing of annual 5500s
  • Assist in the design of overall benefit package, liaising closely with broker during annual benefits review & open enrollment
  • Ensure compliance with COBRA, ACA, HIPAA & ERISA provisions
  • Perform all other duties as assigned


What were looking for in our next teammate

  • BA/BS degree in related field preferred
  • Minimum 5+ years of experience in payroll & benefits required
  • Excellent skills using MS Excel
  • Experience with Workday Payroll & Timekeeping preferred
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality & exercise extreme discretion
  • Excellent problem solving/judgment skills, & high level of attention to detail & accuracy
  • Strong organizational skills, & the ability to work under pressure
  • Ability to handle & prioritize multiple tasks, work with large amounts of data & meet all deadlines
