Mission:

The core mission of a Director of Delivery, GCP is leading a large revenue generating business unit in the delivery of the cloudy version of a professional services organisation, enabling innovation in our clients.

What will you do at Cloudreach?

  • {Relationship Management - Builds relationships easily, is an expert in handling escalations & diffusing challenging situations both internally & with clients. Credible & capable of holding senior client relationships & inspires others to do so. Builds relationships with key strategic clients as agreed with the Sales team.
  • Decision Making - Strong & confident decision maker, adept at making decisions sometimes with limited information at disposal.
  • Delivery - Experienced in the delivery of professional services to large enterprise clients including priort project or programme management experience. Responsible for delivery of successful services across the practice, ensuring KPIs are met & obtaining & maintaining target levels of billability & gross margin.
  • Commercial Awareness - Knows how professional services teams make money & the importance of promoting other revenue streams from outside of the team.
  • Public Speaking - Confident presenting to large audiences, both internally & externally, including pre & post sales situations.
  • Innovation - Proactively identifies areas for improvement & new service delivery. Interfacing with the products & partnerships business units to drive the go-to-market strategy.
  • Communication - Writes & speaks in a professional, convincing & persuasive way.
  • Feedback & Conflict - Acts as a point of escalation when conflict arises & is unable to be resolved at lower levels. Utilises coaching techniques to remain objective & act as a mediator between the two parties. Is confident in handling conflict both internally & externally.
  • Function/Matrix Management - Experienced working in a heavily matrixed enterprise organization, & understands the value of building relationships & social capital in this type of environment

What do we look for?

  • Minimum of 10 years professional services environment & 12+ years total experience, including prior project or programme management experience.
  • Knows how professional services teams make money, how to balance extreme growth & profit & the importance of helping define & delivering other revenue streams from outside your team
  • Know how to negotiate & when to do so in handling ambiguous situations that may have a significant impact on the company
  • Cloud Evangelist - Passionately advocates the positive impact of public cloud environments. Relishes the opportunity to present at large cloud events & generates content for the business as a thought leader.
