Position Summary:

  • Strategize, implement, & maintain a product roadmap related to payments that align with the companys strategy
  • Bridge the technical & business worlds within payments
  • Develop payments program protocols for evaluation & improvement
  • Plan & drive the cross functional operationalization of new payments projects
  • Work closely with R&D & the Product Owner to ensure alignment on product deliverables

Responsibilities:

  • Plan & oversee the successful delivery of the payment program's output/product
  • Stay up to date on the latest payment trends which may require proactive partner communication & research
  • Identify key requirements needed from cross-functional teams by understanding the payments landscape across the organization
  • Help decision makers select & navigate new payments partnerships
  • Analyze, evaluate, & overcome potential risks to ensure successful rollouts of new initiatives
  • Build processes which are scalable & efficient for all stakeholders within payments, including EOL & consolidation plans
  • Utilize current & create new reports to analyze trends within the payments space to help guide the organizations payment strategy
  • Establish a payments product vision & roadmap for a Cloud-Based POS Application
  • Optimizing the current platforms & driving innovations in future payment platforms

Supporting Activities:

  • Developing user personas
  • Identifying market & customer needs
  • Evaluating & documenting business processes
  • Anticipating requirements & uncovering areas for improvement

Requirements:

  • 5+ years in credit card payments, acquiring merchants & consumer wallets
  • BS in Computer Science, Engineering or IT or similar relevant work experience
  • Capability to manage & influence diverse organizations & teams to achieve common goals
  • In-depthknowledge of Agile process & principles
  • Outstanding communication, presentation & leadership skills
  • Previous exposure to Jira, Confluence, Salesforce, NetSuite, & Microsoft Excel
  • Excellent organizational, time management, attention to detail skills
  • Fast on feet, results oriented entrepreneurial slant
  • Sharp analytical & problem-solving skills
  • Creative thinker able to create a clear vision
