Ever worked on a product where the requirements were dictated to you by stakeholders? Not at Pluralsight. We believe in Human-Centered Design, autonomous teams, & the customer breaking the tie. Which means you will be working on a cross-functional team with a dev team who all share the same focus: learning from our internal & external customers & using that knowledge to decide what problems to solve & how to solve them. This is why we look for practitioners who are experienced, good at understanding people, & are driven by the love of what they do.
A large part of the promise of online training is the ability to learn on your own schedule, rather than being bound by traditional classrooms. We're stretching the boundaries of where & how a person can learn by delivering applications for a variety of devices that help individuals learn wherever they are & however much time they have.
We are currently hiring a Product Manager for our native apps team focused on understanding the current experience for our customers on iOS, Android, Mac, Windows, Apple TV, Fire TV, & Roku then identifying where to go next. We are looking for a results-oriented product practitioner to join our team to evolve our experiences, contributing to raising the bar on our best in class skills platform.
Who you are committed to being:
You are focused on making progress every day
You are comfortable establishing & evangelizing a desired end state, or outcome, & motivating others to come along
You ask detailed & specific questions, understand nuance, & challenge conventional wisdom
You care about the success of your customers
You understand that what people say they want & what they actually want may differ
What you'll own:
Help set the outcomes with your team based on the company vision
Synthesis of our customer feedback through reviews, support & primary research activities
Discovering customer needs & balancing those with Pluralsight business objectives
Testing proposed solutions cost-effectively to minimize risk while continuing to learn & deliver
Setting a vision for the company of how technology learners apply their skills outside of the browser.
Communicating plans, progress, goals, & challenges to internal & external stakeholders
Experience you'll need:
A solid understanding of user research & human-centered design
An analytical approach to understanding performance & testing new features
Capable of communicating on a technical level with engineers & designers.
A Bachelor's in Computer Science or a Tech related field
