The Audit & Regulatory Reporting & Tax intern role will assist each team lead with the day-to-day operations.

Start Date: ASAP

End Date: October 29, 2021

Due to COVID-19, this role will be remote until further notice. However, we will require the individual to work onsite 1-2 weeks in Princeton, NJ during the end of August & first two weeks in September to assist with the certified tax mailings.  

Responsibilities

• Tracking, proofing reading & review of feeder fund financial statements
• Monitoring service level providers
• Communicating effectively with external third-party administrators & internal business units to accomplish role objectives & deadlines
• Gathering data internally for the iCapital Networks annual SOC 1 testing
• Working with large volumes of data, while under strict deadlines
• Keep management informed of engagement status & important issues as they arise
• Assist with the Fund Annual Returns (FARs)
• Payment tax reconciliations
• Assist in certified mailing of tax filings

Candidate Profile

• Junior or senior accounting major only or completing a masters degree to qualify for the CPA exam
• Completed intermediate accounting & auditing classes in their program
• Knowledge & skill with Microsoft Office, especially Adobe
• High levels of attention to detail & accuracy with organizational skills as a strength
• Excellent written & verbal communication skills with a collaborative demeanor
• Strong critical thinking, problem solving & decision-making skills
• Comfortable with multi-tasking, being responsible for multiple assignments & meeting deadlines
