What is the key purpose of an Advertiser Account Management Team Lead?

As an Advertiser Account Management Team Lead, you will lead a team of Account Managers responsible for developing growth strategies for an existing book of business across SEA. You will act in a consultative sales capacity, partner with cross-functional teams, & identify up-sell/optimization opportunities.

What will I be doing on a day-to-day basis?

  • Adapt to the unique demands & challenges of the SEA Market. This could include managing client relationships amidst the backdrop of a highly competitive environment, last minute campaigns etc, being flexible in managing KPIs & creating solutions on the move rather than relying on a specific menu, being open minded to learning, relearning & frequent testing & working closely with sales team to scale through delivery of effective campaign performance where necessary.
  • Lead & develop the account management team in SEA, fostering a collaborative environment that mirrors Taboolas values & industry excellence. 
  • Achieve quarterly revenue targets with a focus on client retention & scaling existing business.
  • Oversee onboarding, training, performance management, & career development for the team.
  • Ensure the team understands Taboolas policies, procedures, & industry best practices.
  • Track key account metrics & provide regular reports on revenue forecasts, pipeline development, & client retention.
  • Analyze data to identify growth opportunities & develop strategies accordingly.
  • Build & maintain senior-level relationships with key clients through quarterly business reviews & strategic meetings.
  • Act as an internal advocate for client feedback.
  • Collaborate with Product, Marketing, & Technical Support teams to enhance client experiences & solutions.

What skills & qualifications do I need?

Must haves:

  • 4+ years of professional client-facing experience in digital advertising.
  • 2+ years of experience leading a sales or account management team.
  • Outstanding relationship management & client service skills.
  • Exceptional communication skills.
  • Possesses strong critical thinking & analytical skills with the ability to commercially interpret large datasets.
  • Ability to prioritize & manage tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate within a high-performing team.
  • Self-motivated, entrepreneurial, & comfortable with ambiguity.
