The Associate will play a key role on Lyfts growing Investor Relations (IR) team. This role requires a self-starter who is comfortable working in a fast-paced & dynamic environment. The Associate will be an integral part of the Investor Relations & overall Finance team & will work closely with key functions across the company as well as members of Lyfts leadership team.


  • Collaborate on executing the internal investor relations function including strategy development & creating & executing the IR operating plan & budget
  • Support all communications with the investment community regarding the Companys business model, operating results & business strategy 
  • Compare internal forecasts with analyst modelstracking analyst estimate changes & ensuring accuracy
  • Assist investors & analysts with modeling the companys historical financial statements
  • Review & summarize analyst reports, competitive financial analysis & aggregate information from various financial data sources
  • Advise on & support all aspects of investor marketing, including core processes to build & maintain our investor database & CRM
  • Support all aspects of quarterly earningsincluding preparation of quarterly financial press releases, conference call scripts, Q&A documents, investor presentations & other associated materials; assist in drafting annual & quarterly SEC filings
  • Support the Companys participation in investor & analyst events such as conferences, meetings, non-deal roadshows
  • Support any planning for the Companys Analyst Day & Annual Shareholder Meeting
  • Compile disclosures & data for use by senior management in meetings & discussions with sell-side analysts & shareholders
  • Work closely with senior staff on internal & external financial planning, forecasting & reporting


  • 1-2 years of experience in investor relations, equity research, investment banking, Corporate Development, FP&A, or other Wall Street position
  • Technology experience is preferred
  • Ability to develop financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow), quarterly forecasts & annual budgets
  • Strong financial modeling abilities & understanding of valuation & modeling techniques used by investors & analysts
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to perform quantitative & qualitative analysis, interpret information & financial concepts & apply them to business analysis 
  • Advanced communications skills & relationship skills
  • Strong proficiency with spreadsheets, word processing & presentation software; familiarity with IR focused software/tools a plus
  • Keen intellect, unquestioned ethics, a sense of urgency & the ability to simultaneously execute on both tactical & strategic projects with the ability to operate in a fast-paced, deadline driven environment
  • Strong passion for Lyfts mission
  • Familiarity with GAAP & non-GAAP accounting practices
  • Bachelors Degree in Business, Finance, Economics or Accounting
