Operations Supervisors are responsible for leading the Final Mile Team, ensuring that metrics are met while developing & holding the team accountable. They will assist the Operations Manager & other Operations Supervisors in driving key performance indicators & orchestrating the day-to-day operation of their location. They will work to keep the team well informed of priorities & initiatives. They will also serve as Leader on Duty ensuring the day-to-day tasks & projects are completed by the team efficiently & safely.

  • Assist the Operations Manager in overseeing & upholding the standard operating procedures of all day-to-day operations, including warehouse & delivery operations, managing staff scheduling & product inventory
  • Own on-time & data-driven employee scheduling
  • Act as a Leader on Duty for the facility
  • Manage & coordinate maintenance & repairs of the vehicle fleet
  • Serve as forklift operator & trainer
  • Manage inbound/outbound of products & supplies, loading/unloading of vehicle fleet & all fleet operations & maintenance
  • Regularly review data to solve day to day operation challenges & lead the team to meet or exceed KPIs & company goals
  • Oversee inventory management ensuring inventory levels meet fulfillment needs & identify & rectify inventory control challenges
  • Drive effective change management to meet business needs with minimal team member impact
  • Recruit, hire & retain the best team by building people capabilities through 1:1s, coaching sessions & feedback that focuses on accountability, development & excellence in the workplace
  • Partner with Third Party Logistics (3PL) providers to drive member experience, on/off-board new providers & manage performance of 3PL partners by market
  • Ensure current & accurate inventory for all products both systematically & physically
  • Perform inventory related tasks such as all physical inventories, cycle counts, system inventory movements, & re-SKUing of inventory

  • 2 years experience leading hourly teams
  • Experience sourcing, training & retaining talent
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Excellent written & verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work well both independently & in a team atmosphere
  • Good problem solving skills, & the ability to troubleshoot problems & think on your feet
  • Intermediate mathematical skills
  • Handy with tools & understanding of torque value
  • Capable of excellent documentation & tracking data, including on electronic devices
  • Attention to detail
  • Must have & maintain a valid driver's license & a clean driving record
  • Forklift Certification
  • High school graduate or equivalent
  • Flexible schedule; ability to work nights, weekends, & holidays as necessary
