Blink Health seeks a seasoned, highly motivated, & results-driven Deputy Editor to execute a multi-channel content strategy & production roadmap, while managing a core internal content team & an expanding network of freelancers. We are looking for a natural storyteller with stellar editorial vision to create clear, accessible, resonant content that connects with patients, pharmacists, & healthcare providers, speaks to trends, & amplifies the Blink Health brand in creative, fresh ways. You will play a strategic & tactical role in shaping the unique editorial voice & perspective of Blink Health, ensuring that the right content gets delivered to the right audience at the right time through our owned media channels. This hands-on role manages our editorial rhythm & collaborates closely with Performance Marketing, Product Marketing, Industry Marketing, & Communications teams. Reporting to the Director of Content, this is a full-time position based in NYC.

As Deputy Editor of Content at Blink Health, you will:

  • Operate an always-on approach to blog publishing & content distribution across CRM & social channels, with an eye toward building brand awareness, trust, & engagement. Manage editorial calendar & internal newsroom/content lab to bring the Blink Health brand to life through storytelling.

  • Uphold editorial guidelines that ensure a consistent brand voice, tone, perspective, & copy standards across website, email, & social channels.

  • Write, edit, ideate, & drive publishing operations & manage editorial budgets for a variety of platforms & mediums (social, editorial/blog, app, email, & video).

  • Consistently measure, track, & optimize content performance to ensure we regularly achieve & exceed key brand & growth KPIs.

  • Manage assignments & deadlines for staff writers & network freelance contributors.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional team of product managers, designers, performance marketers, & clinical experts to create SEO-informed content that is optimized for user experience & introduces new audiences to Blink Health.

  • Create & distribute blog articles, landing pages, newsletters, social posts, & editorial packages so good that our audience keeps coming back.

  • Work with Director of Content to develop & execute integrated content campaigns that support key marketing & business priorities, are unique, & drive engagement.

Were Looking for You to Bring:

  • 8+ years experience developing & executing multi-channel content strategy, as an editor and/or writer, with both established & emerging consumer brands & preferably covering health, healthcare, wellness or lifestyle content; plus demonstrated ability to build & grow audiences through digital channels.

  • Bachelors degree, preferably in journalism, communications, or writing.

  • A varied mix of experience in relevant roles & industries, including content marketing, publishing, journalism, & copywriting; demonstrated success in managing an editorial team & executing digital content programs & budgets.

  • Fluency in content marketing & digital publishing tools, including CMS, social media management/listening, & data & business analytics.

  • Ace command of tone, language, & health information. You also possess great empathy for all aspects of the consumer journey, creating content that answers audience needs & expectations.

  • Knack for finding new writers & identifying opportunities to tell compelling, engaging stories that deliver utility & build community.

  • Purpose-led, performance-driven mindset; ability to think big but also love the details; desire to test & learn & leverage analytics to inform content production & turn insights into action.

  • Past successes with both long-form & short, news-driven, of-the-moment content creation & distribution; ability to easily move between editing & writing content yourself.

  • Exceptional organizational skills & accountability; you are skilled at managing multiple work streams simultaneously & equally comfortable delegating or owning tasks, no matter how big or small.

  • Resourcefulness, creativity, & passion for our mission to make prescription medicines affordable for everyone.

  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment. You seek to make things better while maintaining high quality & consistently fresh creative.
