Lyft is looking for an experienced Community Specialist who knows how to motivate a team & wants to make a big impact at a fast-growing company. You will manage a team across Austin & will design creative initiatives for improving the driver experience. Youll work with other operations team members who are focused on supporting Lyft drivers in the Greater Austin area.


  • Launch market expansion opportunities
  • Manage & own the day to day operations of a line of business, including one or morephysical sites
  • Hire, train & develop a small team of Community Associates
  • Lead regular team meetings to ensure team members are kept informed on progress oflaunch, new initiatives, product changes, & are aligned to Lyfts vision
  • Review NPS/CSAT feedback to identify ways to improve the driver service experience;enforce with team members
  • Updates manager on business & team performance metrics; identifies opportunities forimprovement & process/actions to achieve goals
  • Ensure location(s) adheres to Lyft's brand, operational, & community standards
  • Continuously innovate to find new ways to improve the driver & team experience
  • Assist in de-escalating challenging driver interactions
  • Represent Lyft's brand, mission, & culture both inside & outside of the organization


  • 3+ years experience in customer service roles such as retail, technical support or hospitality & 1+ years managing a small team
  • Embody servant leadership & operational excellence
  • Knowledge of & passion for the rideshare industry (bonus points if youre not just apassenger but a driver too!)
  • Strong verbal & written communication
  • Strong interpersonal savvy & passion for working with people
  • Ability to learn on the fly & problem solve in a fast-paced environment
  • Available to work flexible hours that may include early mornings, evenings, weekends,nights and/or holidays
