FanDuel Group is expanding its free to play gaming footprint, & were looking for an entrepreneurial, forward thinking commercial leader to help lead the charge. This role will take on leadership of our free to play gaming platform in collaboration with product & marketing, build a high performing team of operators, & develop aggressive business goals & KPIs to keep the team focused & moving forward. This is a high-profile role with the opportunity to make a material impact on the business outcome for FanDuel Group.

Everyone on our team has a part to play

  • Set a plan & lead a cross-functional team to achieve P&L outcomes for FanDuel Group
  • Conduct strategic market analysis to understand market trends & inform which initiatives to pursue
  • Develop business models & strategic plans, working closely with finance & other commercial leads from various P&Ls
  • Work closely with product, marketing, engineering, finance, & commercial strategy teams to drive alignment with our mission, values & goals
  • Manage commercial partnerships with 3rd party platform providers
  • Drive & deliver functional planning, budgeting, & forecasting processes to ensure alignment & commitment to delivering planned performances
  • Develop & test hypotheses quickly by working with internal teams to conduct data analysis, market research, & user research to identify opportunities
  • Help steer development of a product portfolio which optimizes the acquisition, retention, & lifetime values of customers
  • Assist in ideation of game formats & the setting of lines & markets for game questions
  • Monitor the performance on a daily basis & provide regular reports
  • Own & optimize the free to play budget


What were looking for in our next teammate

  • Minimum 7 years of experience in digital/growth marketing or commercial function
  • Minimum 3 years of managerial experience & budget ownership preferred
  • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Business or Analytical field (or other relevant discipline) preferred
  • Confident, entrepreneurial & an experienced decision-maker comfortable with considered risk & change
  • Excellent communicator, negotiator, & collaborative leader able to push the envelope while bringing others along the journey
  • Metrics driven & continuously seeking improvement of efforts to increase quality & productivity
  • Equal enthusiasm for high-level strategic planning, creative thinking, & tactical execution
  • Highly proficient with Excel
  • Gaming experience highly desired
  • Knowledge of sports or heavily regulated industries is a plus
