The Information Security Operations Analyst at iCapital Network is a first responder for reviewing & responding to cyber security alerts.   The analyst will work alongside security operations & engineering peers to provide situational awareness through detecting, containing, & resolving cyber security threats using a comprehensive set of cyber security technologies including IDS, IPS, DLP, SIEM, AWS & firewall technologies.

Responsibilities

• Respond & investigate cyber security alarms
• Triage incidents quickly & effectively, escalating priorities to the rest of the team
• Perform daily & weekly tasks to measure & report on the state of cyber security defenses at the firm
• Assist Security Engineer with configuration of security tools & alerts
• Front line responder to respond to & remediate cyber security intrusions
• Conduct open-source threat intelligence review to investigate seek out new indicators of compromise for investigations

Candidate Profile

• 1+ year of security related experience
• Bachelors degree in Information Security, Information Technology or Computer Science preferred
• Good understanding of TCP/IP protocols
• Knowledge of Linux & Windows operating systems
• Experience with cloud infrastructure systems, AWS preferred
• A quick learner with desire to always learn combined with the ability to multi-task
• Attentive, organized & detail oriented
• Solid problem-solving & analytical skills
• Excellent communication skills
