Hi, we're Oscar. Were hiring a Pharmacy Specialist to join our Complaints Grievances & Appeals (GGA) team in our Tempe office.

About the role:
Our Pharmacy Specialists are viewed as the go-to resource for the Pharmacy Team with a passion for teaching/supporting internal teams. They are a role model in all KPIs & consistently identify solutions when areas of opportunity exist. They have mastered the Pharmacy Technician role & are now ready to take on more responsibility. Their goal is to support first level escalations/questions from technicians & help coordinate the work.
You will report into the Pharmacy Clinical Review Team Lead.
Effectively handle escalated cases for our internal & external members
Ability to assess internal members strengths & opportunities around authorization processing
Builds cross functional relationships in order to sharpen content skill set
Collaboratively provides constructive feedback that supports improvement & accountability
Demonstrates flexibility supporting all areas of Pharmacy CRT based on business need
Effectively manages their time with multiple competing objectives in order to get all items done on time
Identifies issues/ trends & identifies gaps in workflows within Pharmacy CRT
Evaluate reports & provide TAT oversight to identify trends and/or provide feedback to meet compliance
3+ years of performing pharmacy reviews for a managed care plan or pharmacy benefits manager
Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT)
Extensive knowledge of UM authorization processing
