The Omada MSK Engineering team (Physera) is looking for an experienced Senior Full Stack Software Engineer to join our cutting edge & growing team.  We are looking for people to help us bring down the cost of healthcare, by building c new features for our existing web applications as well as create new life-changing products & experiences for our patients, medical providers & users.

We hire passionate, creative people & give them the autonomy to do great work. Our software engineers are comfortable dealing with high-level specifications, working independently & in small teams, & are heavy contributors in the product process from idea to production.

We need engineers who are excited to solve problems in novel ways & collectively learn the right approach to delivering the best health care experiences.

What you'll be doing:

  • Work with product managers, designers & an eclectic group of highly skilled engineers to build the backends that power our mobile applications & the web applications that enable our providers to deliver world class digital health care.
  • Play a critical role in the full agile software development life cycle, from conception to deployment including architecture, design, & development of our front-end web applications & back-end APIs & systems.
  • Writing clean & well-tested code that allows us to keep our applications stable & easily modifiable.
  • Constantly fine-tuning & iterating on existing application features & squashing bugs.
  • Contribute to a knowledge-sharing & an open & collaborative remote first work environment.

You have:

  • 3+ years of experience with web technologies: JavaScript, XHTML, CSS
  • 3+ years of experience designing & implementing scalable web services, applications, & RESTful APIs.
  • 3+ years of experience with relational databases & SQL
  • MySQL or PostgreSQL & SqlAlchemy
  • Knowledge of Python & Flask
  • Experience with React
  • Sound knowledge of JavaScript, including concepts like asynchronous programming, closures, types, & ES6.
  • Excellent debugging & optimization skills
  • TDD, unit/integration testing experience
  • Interest in in learning new tools, languages, workflows, & philosophies to grow
  • Curiosity & care more about solving problems than being right.

Bonus if you have:

  • GraphQL
  • Ruby on Rails
  • TypeScript
  • Native mobile iOS and/or Android experience
  • Experience working in healthcare or another regulated industry.
