Responsibilities

  • Own projects end to end, starting with data discovery, design, implementation, & deployment.
  • Develop customer-centric prototypes for new product explorations.
  • Manage & lead a small team of engineers & grow the team as needed.
  • Proactively communicate your learnings & progress to your team & leadership.
  • Establish & maintain relationships with other engineering teams & collaborate with other functions within Dropbox.

Requirements

  • BS degree or higher in Computer Science or related technical field, or equivalent technical experience.
  • 8+ years of software engineering and/or work-related industry experience
  • Success developing & shipping a large-scale web application with a user-empathetic mindset.
  • Skilled at building user-facing applications & supporting systems & libraries on web and/or desktop using front-end technologies such as JavaScript, TypeScript, React, HTML5, CSS3.
  • Ability to work across the stack on projects & able to build a minimum working product quickly.
