THIS IS A CONTRACT POSITION BASED IN BANGALORE, INDIA 

THE ROLE

You will be directly responsible for ensuring that every candidate for a role at MPOWER has a phenomenal recruiting experience. As a Senior Tech Recruiter, you will work with Head of Tech Recruiting to ensure engineering & analytics roles are appropriately scoped, budgeted, & that a recruiting roadmap is implemented. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of hiring for tech roles globally in a fast-paced environment, be able to expertly position & sell MPOWER opportunities, & negotiate offers with clarity & integrity. Your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:    

  • Setting recruiting strategy for sourcing, evaluating & closing top engineering & analytics talent
  • Collaborating with the engineering hiring manager to define the talent needs, create or update job descriptions, & research compensation factors
  • Proactively sourcing diverse, high potential engineering & technical candidates with superior skills as well as culture fit & mission alignment with MPOWERs organization 
  • Managing the interview process & providing candidates with a positive experience (sourcing applicants, reviewing resumes, conducting preliminary phone screens, & coordinating in-person interviews) 
  • Serving as tech recruiting subject matter expert for the organization & mentor for the recruiting team

 THE QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or a related Tech field
  • 4+ years of experience recruiting for tech roles & building teams in a high-paced, fast-growth entrepreneurial environment, ideally as an in-house recruiter or within an RPO environment
  • Extensive proven track record of sourcing & delivering exceptional candidates & closing roles on-time & on-budget
  • Must have strong verbal, written, analytical & interpersonal skills, including demonstrated ability to deal with confidential information & sensitive situations with tact & diplomacy
  • Detail oriented, with excellent administrative & organizational skills. Motivated & driven for high impact.
  • Proficient in the use of prominent Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) platforms & tools such as Greenhouse, etc. to administer, coordinate, & track progress

A passion for financial inclusion & access to higher education is a must, as well as comfort working with a global team across multiple-time zones & sites!

In addition, you should be comfortable working in a fast growth environment, meaning a small agile team, fast-evolving roles & responsibilities, variable workload & tight deadlines, a high degree of autonomy, & 80-20 everything.
