Vimeo is looking for an experienced Senior BI Developer - Tableau to join our Data Architecture & Analytics Engineering team & work closely with Data Analysts,  Analytics Engineers, & Data Scientists to create & maintain robust, scalable, & sustainable Tableau Dashboards that will provide decision-making insights for senior leadership including executives. The ideal candidate is a self-starter with a bias for action & results, with experience in a fast-paced, data-driven environment.

 What you'll do:

• Build & publish interactive dashboards on Tableau with senior decision-makers as your customer.
• Create interactive filters, parameters, & calculations for dashboards & worksheets in Tableau.
• Translate data into a re-usable product.
• Tell data stories using visualisations.
• Ensure alignment to coding standard methodologies & development of reusable code
• Partner with Data Analysts to understand business processes & identify opportunities to build scalable, refreshable, & fault-tolerant dashboards & reports
• Create & enable the generation of ad-hoc / on-demand data sets for use by analysts & data scientists
• Work with the Analytics Engineering team to set up monitoring & alerting systems for business & product KPIs

 Skills & knowledge you should possess:

• BS/MS in Computer Science or a related technical field.
• 6+ years of hands-on experience in designing, developing, testing, deploying, & maintaining Tableau dashboards
• 6+ years working in an Analytics focussed environment
• Experience working on initiatives around data governance, master data management, data catalogs, & data warehouse architecture
• Experience with a Data-Driven Operating Model (DDOM) & SaaS metrics is a huge plus
• Experience in administering Tableau cloud is a big plus
• Strong analytical skills, data sensibility, & an able communicator
• Open to working on multiple projects simultaneously
• Proficiency in:
• Tableau 
• SQL
• Dimensional Modeling
• Exposure to ETL methodology & best practices
• Snowflake or other column-oriented & cloud-based databases
• Relational Databases
