Complex Networks is a global youth entertainment network spanning major pop culture categories including streetwear & style, food, music, sneakers & sports. Complex Networks is diversified around three pillars: advertising, e-commerce, & content where it creates & distributes original programming for Gen Z & Millennial audiences through premium distributors such as Netflix, Hulu, Turner, Corus, Facebook, Snap, YouTube, Roku & more. Additionally, Complex Networks generates revenue through a number of core business lines, including branded content & advertising, licensing, events, e-commerce, & agency consulting services.
You Will
- Maintain key schedules & docs for the production season.
- Support lead Producer & PM on pre-production for the weekly video & podcast show.
- Attend shoots for both podcasts & some sneaker-related shows (including some travel possibly), & help manage crews, support pcr tests/self certifications, maintain the set, & assist the guest / talent with any needs.
- Secure talent releases & upload to Legal Deliverables/Wrap Drive (proper show day/time folder)
- Provide back-up administrative support for the PM with regards to travel booking, finance tracking, submitting invoices & expenses, meal orders, etc.
- Facilitate meetings, set up conference/video conference calls; take & distribute meeting notes as requested
- Assist in post production with potential photo research, clearing assets with Legal, etc
- QC the final exports of episodes (audio & video) then share to rcreview@complex.com for review.
- Send launch email each week for youtube (video) version, post the audio version to acast cms, & oversee all launch titles, descriptions, timestamps, & thumbnails.
- Post the audio version to acast cms.
- Wrap each video & audio episode by ensuring music cue sheets, video asset logs, & releases are added to the Deliverables/Wrap Drive as well as the video masters & audio files archived in Iconik.
- Support & Deliver Snapchat Show Edits for FSR & Sneaker Shopping.
- Make sure episodes maintain each shows branding & overall look & feel in their shorter versions made for snapchat
- Review edits done by editors of Full Size Run & Sneaker Shopping.
- Upload & launch weekly snapchat episodes.
- Create thumbnails via photoshop for each episode
- Write copy for episodes
- Manage editor schedules for each season of the 2 shows (SS, FSR)
- Ensure sponsorships are properly portrayed if an episodes/season is sold to a brand
- Additional tasks, as necessary

You Have
- Solid understanding of the Complex Audience & Goals
- Degree in Film/Communications/Production & or internships in a related field
- Candidates should have strong interest in / experience in production & podcasts
- Proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite of applications is essential
- Familiarity of audio editing in Audition and/or Pro Tools
- Excellent oral/written communication skills
- The ideal candidate will be adept at understanding the nuances of supporting various team members, with strong interpersonal skills to work effectively with diverse styles & shifting priorities
- Focus & tenacity to get tasks completed
- Resourceful nature & self-sufficiency
- Fast-moving & communicative while working on a variety of timely projects
- Please note: this position can be physically demanding (running errands, occasional heavy lifting, etc.) & could require occasional evening/weekend work
