As a Cloud Infrastructure Team Lead at Via, youll join our R&D center in TLV.  Youll be leading a team of developers & devops engineers, directly contributing to our product by using cutting-edge technologies. Youll take a critical part in our mission to shape the future of transportation, affecting tens of thousands of riders daily worldwide.

The Infrastructure Team is a cross-functional team dedicated to transforming software development efficiency & quality across the company. This team designs cloud infrastructure & CI/CD standards & methodologies, while also building & managing core infrastructure components & tools that serve all development teams at Via. Beyond infrastructure, the team enhances developer experience & accelerates delivery by implementing unified & self-service CI/CD & IaC solutions that streamline & standardize the development lifecycle at Via.

What Youll Do:

• Serve as the full technical owner of your teams products.
• Grow & mentor your team members.
• Take end-to-end professional responsibility over your teams Agile development life cycle.
• Proactively build your team, recruiting & onboarding.
• Be a hands-on developer & devops engineer in your team - designing, coding, & delivering features to production.
• Lead the teams atmosphere & culture.
• Collaborate with dozens of dev teams that will use your tech stack in their production services.

Who You Are:

Hands on! Not afraid of tech challenges.

• B.Sc. Computer Science or a related field.
• Minimum of 6 years of experience in Devops.
• Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in backend or full-stack development in a product development role (not scripting).
• Experience with at least one of the following cloud technologies: AWS/GCP/Azure, Kubernetes, Serverless.
• Experience with distributed systems & micro-services environments.
• Experience with devops practices, CI/CD pipelines & development processes.
• Familiarity with observability concepts & hands-on implementation experience.
• Independent, responsible, with a true desire to make an impact.
• Passionate about software engineering & constantly expanding your knowledge.
• An expert in balancing the trade-offs between technical & product priorities.
• Enjoys working with people.
• Driven by tough challenges, & producing reliable & scalable solutions.
• Enthusiastic about code quality, concepts, architecture, design, testing, & performance.
