About The Team:
In this role, you are responsible for overseeing all aspects of food safety & product quality systems on the site. You are also responsible for leading the technical team, whilst ensuring that compliance standards are maintained to auditing standards. Furthermore, you will collaborate closely with cross functional teams to maintain & enhance our quality standards.
What You Will Be Doing:
Manage & develop a team to meet KPIs, enhance performance, & maximize potential
Model company values & handle daily team inquiries, coordinating with HR & training as needed
Develop & maintain quality systems to ensure compliance with food safety & company standards
Investigate raw material issues, perform inspections, & review technical procedures, updating as necessary
Build strong supplier relationships & manage stock in quarantine areas effectively
Analyze production & safety data to identify trends & improvement opportunities
Lead continuous improvement efforts & ensure sustained Food Safety & Health & Safety compliance, actively addressing concerns
Solve problems & escalate as needed, ensuring adherence to SOPs & coordinating support functions
Conduct audits, support ad hoc projects & promote company strategies like inclusivity & well-being initiatives
Who You Are:
Proven experience in a Quality Assurance role, or similar role, within the food industry
Proficiency in using quality management software or tools for data analysis & reporting
HACCP level 3 & Food Safety Level 3
Proficiency in using Microsoft Office Software
Degree in food science, food technology or a related field preferred
Proficiency in using G-Suite Software
