As a critical analytical role within the Total Rewards & People Strategy team, you will be integral in building & maintaining the technical tools for the national People & Culture team & broader organization. You will be working side-by-side with our Compensation & Benefits team, Business Partners & Recruiting team to ensure we enhance our data analytics & integrity in our compensation outcomes. You will also be exposed to our Finance & Legal teams as we continue to enhance our controls. This role frequently is involved in meetings with senior leaders throughout the company, so opportunities for growth & exposure to decision-makers are limitless! 

At Compass you will:

  • Develop analytics & reporting addressing top organizational priorities across compensation, people strategy, benefits & wellness
  • Partner in the development of our emerging HRIS/Workday strategy through coordination, maintenance & enhancement of the HRIS platform particularly as it relates to reporting out of the system
  • Provide ongoing analysis of trends & performance against key organizational metrics & objectives for the purposes of monitoring progress & calculating incentive outcomes for employees
  • Partner with our equity finance team to manage our equity compensation programs & provide input on go-forward recommendations & enhancements
  • Engage day-to-day with the numerous People & Culture systems & tools that our team uses, including interfaces between HRIS, payroll & other internal/external systems
  • Provide training & advisory to our employees including systems training, executing the year-end compensation process, annual benefits renewal & wellness initiatives
  • Provide project management support for assigned projects & tasks to ensure successful completion
  • Produce ad hoc analysis/reports including detail to support special initiatives

What were looking for:

  • Bachelors degree in Human Resources, Business, Statistics, Data Science or relevant field with at least three years in compensation & data analysis 
  • Experience working with large database sets & multiple HR-related tools, including HRIS, performance management, compensation planning & benefit portals
  • Experience with data analysis, modeling, design & documentation especially as it relates to incentive plan design & performance outcome calculations
  • Detail oriented with strong quantitative skills especially in statistical analysis
  • Analytics application-proficiency (Google suite, MS office notably MS Excel, Tableau); experience with Workday reporting preferred
  • Excellent organizational & interpersonal communication skills, tact & discretion in handling sensitive information, & strong work ethic; ability to effectively collaborate & work with all staff levels
