Role summary:

The core function of a Consultant Advocate is making Consultants their number 1 priority. The role provides support, collects & delivers feedback, & helps develop & implement career plans. The Consultant Advocate will make mentorship connections across the organization to ensure every Consultant has an engaging & achievable career plan. The ideal candidate will be a positive, approachable role model of professionalism, a great listener with a high EQ, & be charged by the idea of spending the majority of their work week engaging with & helping people.

Essential job duties & responsibilities:

  • Facilitate individualized career development plans for all Consultants
  • Collect & provide (2-way) feedback from project teams, community leaders, & the management team
  • Collaborate on the development & alignment of OKRs
    • Timeliness
    • Alignment with company, department, & personal objectives
    • Monitor & facilitate progress
  • Ensure consistent touchpoints with every resource (aka 1:1s) as needed
  • Facilitate internal networking & mentorship
  • Collaborate with recruiting

  • Monitor & drive compliance with company & department processes & policies

Essential skills & requirements:

  • 2-3 years experience in people management, team management & performance coaching, either directly or as an influencer in a matrixed environment.
  • 2-3 years in consulting
  • 2-3 years in the Salesforce ecosystem preferred but not required
  • BA required
  • Willing to schedule the workday to work remotely with people in all US time zones.
  • Collect & transmit feedback clearly & with sensitivity
  • Create career/personal growth plans & hold people accountable to personal & role specific metrics
  • Lead through influence up & down the organization
  • Hold crucial conversations with empathy
  • Proactively identify & address people issues
  • Mediate conflict between people to mutual success
