The Role: Account Executive, Gilt City

Gilt City, the local lifestyle destination from Gilt, offers coveted access to exclusive local experiences & luxury e-commerce offerings to our active members. Headquartered in New York City as part of the Rue Gilt Groupe, Gilt City has a large nationwide membership as well as local offices in Boston.  Our energetic team consists of motivated lifestyle & experience experts who are passionate about offering the very best brands to our Gilt City members.

We are looking for a dynamic Account Executive who can identify key targets & deliver sales that align with our mission of providing insider access to todays most coveted brands & experiences. You will be relentless in your pursuit of developing relationships with local brands & curating unique & luxurious experiences in the New York/Boston areas - spa, event, travel, dining, that will appeal to our member. 

What Youll Do:

  • Own & drive full cycle sales for both new & repeat accounts
  • Bring in & close new accounts on a continual basis while maintaining relationships with repeat & past accounts in order to achieve & exceed revenue target
  • Become an expert in the New York City & Boston markets
  • Interface & communicate effectively with the Account Management team & leadership team
  • Execute against targets identified & agreed upon by management on a quarterly basis
  • Own & drive full cycle sales on a continual basis by engaging new accounts as well as leveraging existing relationships to achieve/exceed revenue target.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional partners to create concepts that will make shopping an occasion for our members.
  • Source & close sales of the most exiting local opportunities for our Members in NY & Boston.

  • Proven success in a competitive sales environment, ideally with relevant experience in advertising, events, local services, luxury brands & e-commerce (min 3 years)
  • Outstanding communication, presentation, & negotiation skills.
  • Expert in building & maintaining strategic partnerships.
  • Established network of local businesses & influencers in the NY/Bos markets.

Base Salary Range: $58,000 - $65,000

Rue Gilt Groupe is committed to providing Associates with equal pay for equal work & carefully considers a wide range of compensation factors, including prior experience, skills & expertise, location, & internal equity. Our goal is to support, reward & compensate the entire individual. Depending on role eligibility, your offer may also include bonus/commission, equity, 401(k) match, & a variety of benefits. Therefore, final offer amounts may vary from the amount stated.
