The Opportunity: 

As a Healthcare Client Partner / Health Plan expert, you will be working with healthcare clients on some of the most important areas of innovation across the industry. Many healthcare payers / health plans are looking to Unqork to support digitization & modernization efforts across their business, & our client partner team works directly with these companies to present the Unqork platform & value proposition, understand pain points, identify use cases, create tailored solutions, & ensure successful implementations. You will be responsible for bringing expertise on payer / health plan workflows, operations, & strategies to the Unqork organization to support commercial efforts, implementations, marketing, partnerships, & productization. You will:

  • Focus on healthcare payers / health plans, identifying opportunities for modernization of workflows & processes 
  • Work with the sales team to present Unqork solutions to prospective clients, including creation of collateral & coordination of demos & other internal resources / assets 
  • Identify client use cases & support sales cycle 
  • Oversee portfolio of client implementations, bringing industry expertise to development of applications 
  • Support product marketing & sales enablement 
  • Support productization efforts, identifying applications that could scale across the industry & supporting documentation of key product elements & capabilities 
  • Identify & support partnership opportunities, both with systems integrator (SI) partners & healthcare ecosystem partners 
  • Contribute & source regulatory expertise to support sales & implementations 
  • Contribute to Unqork healthcare strategy & business planning efforts

Who you are:

  • You have deep expertise in health plan operations, including processes such as benefit design, prior authorization, provider & member enrollment, & claims adjudication 
  • You thrive in client-facing roles, both selling / developing new business opportunities & implementing complex solutions for clients 
  • You are resourceful, open-minded & enjoy problem-solving
  • You are constantly thinking about how we can identify & solve problems for clients
  • You pay attention to the details
  • You have good interpersonal skills, are diligent, & self-motivated
  • You have an eagerness to learn & excel in a high-paced environment

What were looking for:

  • 10+ years experience, including 5-7+ years experience working directly with health plans or healthcare payers, either within a health plan or consulting to large payers
  • Proven ability to work with clients: identifying areas of unmet need, problem solving, creating client-facing documentation
  • Experience in enterprise Software as a Service (SaaS) a plus 
  • Previous consulting experience a plus
