Senior Account Manager, Gilt City (Brand Operations Team)

The Senior Account Manager will lead partnerships with various internal teams & external vendors to drive the sales process for the Gilt City team & manage relationships. 


  • Manage Gilt City Account Management team consisting of one Account Manager + Contract associates as needed
  • Drive innovation & process efficiencies across the City organization
  • Lead collaboration with cross-functional teams including Customer Service, Creative, Tech, Boutique Production, Finance, Marketing, Editorial 
  • Act as key partner in vendor relationships & for all internal contacts both pre & post-sale 
  • Maintain vendor relationships & meet vendor marketing needs on an ongoing basis
  • Create purchase orders & invoices for vendor offers
  • Manage the creative assets between the vendor & the Gilt City department
  • Support management & oversight of day-to-day creative & copy workflow & prioritization for Gilt City business
  • Maintain nimbleness & flexibility while keeping self & partners organized while prioritizing a wide scope of accounts. Troubleshoot challenges, identify solutions & direct next steps to keep work & projects moving.
  • Build & formalize training plan & spearhead onboarding process for any new team members. Support training & onboarding process for cross-functional partners.  
  • Work to ensure positive, can-do approach to incoming projects with internal & external stakeholders & business partners.

  • A Bachelors Degree
  • 6+ years experience in an e-commerce, project management, and/or sales/client relations environment
  • Proficiencies in MS Office Suite, including Word & Excel, Google Docs
  • Salesforce knowledge preferred
  • Strong self-motivation & self-advocacy 
  • Excellent collaboration, communication & interpersonal skills & ability to manage confrontation & provide options for your business partners
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Strong understanding of merchandising financials, retail math & the ability to manage profitability
  • Ability to analyze reports, draw conclusions & make recommendations
  • Ability to remain flexible & willing to change strategies, as business needs dictate
  • Ability to liaise effectively & create an exciting work environment
  • Ability to prioritize & manage multiple accounts with tight deadlines & comfortable with ambiguity.
