Position Overview 

As a member of the Sales Leadership team, this individual will be a key player in launching new Tablo programs while also growing / developing existing Tablo Programs.  The Clinical Sales Manager will be responsible for recruiting, hiring, training & developing a clinical field sales team (Tablo Sales Representative) within his/her region.  He/She will work with the Clinical Sales Director & Sales to build quarterly plans to meet & exceed Outset Medicals goals.  The Clinical Sales Manager will also participate in increasing awareness of Tablo across the region through targeted market development activity. 

Essential Job Functions

  • Responsible for hiring, training & developing a team of Clinical Sales Representatives
  • Work with the Clinical Sales Director to create quarterly plans & strategy to meet & exceed Outset Medical goals
  • Through managing a team of Clinical Sales Representatives provide excellent customer experience & expand the utilization of Tablo in all existing accounts
  • Through targeted sales activities create opportunities for new system installations
  • Lead new customer installs & program launch
  • Work closely with training, marketing & sales leadership to ensure proper allocation of training support & to develop a strategy to drive utilization of Tablo systems
  • Measure training effectiveness & implement enhancements as necessary
  • Drive regional sales & marketing development events that create system awareness & procedure adoption 

Qualifications

Core Competencies, Skills & Experience Requirements

  • Bachelors degree required
  • Five+ years of Sales & Sales Management experience with record in successfully hiring, managing & developing a sales team
  • Demonstrated ability to work cross departmentally & with external parties to achieve training goals
  • Demonstrated ability to create & manage training projects & initiatives with measurable outcomes
  • Ambition & strong work ethic
  • Ability to excel in a high-energy, fast-paced environment
  • Excellent interpersonal skills & persuasive communication skills
  • Proven ability to work effectively as part of a team
  • Documented record of delivering sales/training/marketing information, which adds value to managements decision-making process
  • Demonstrated verbal & written communication, negotiation, sales, interpersonal & presentation skills. Demonstrated working knowledge of frequently used personal computer programs & relevant applications
  • Ability to travel up to 75%
