We are currently seeking a Service Engineer, Reporting, as part of the Professional Services team to translate business requirements into technical actions. The Service Engineer, Reporting, will partner with customers, Project Managers, Engagement Managers & various members of the SocialChorus team to ensure customer deliverables align with the customer need.
This role entails a broad breadth of technical skills & interests to assist our customers in the implementation & ongoing updates of the SocialChorus platform with a focus on developing custom reports. To succeed in this team, you must have the ambition to work independently in a remote environment while working as a team with other members of the Service Engineering team through various remote communication tools.
Partner with customers to understand their business needs, & translate those needs into requirements for custom reports.
Develop custom reports & verify accuracy & alignment with the requirements.
Proactively own high-visibility & high-touch customer relationships from a reporting standpoint.
Efficiently solve problems by driving collaboration with customers & coworkers via video calls.
Write integration & troubleshooting tutorials & sample code for our clients.
A minimum of 3-5 years experience with software development tools & environments.
A minimum of 2 years client facing experience integrating enterprise systems
Expertise with SQL.
Expertise with Metabase.
Experience in Redshift & Postgres.
Experience in Ruby, Java, Python is a plus.
Has written technical documentation & SQL samples for internal enablement.
Has worked closely with engineering teams to triage & assign technical issues.
Exceptional verbal & written communication & presentation skills.
Possess a can-do, no-problem-too-big-or-too-small attitude.
Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or equivalent.
Demonstrated client relationship, communication & presentation skills.
Excellent organisational, analytical, & problem solving skills.
High level knowledge of enterprise IT organisational, business, & technical environments.
