The Construction Senior Manager will work with the Sportsbook Commercial Development Director to deliver top class Sportsbook fitouts & associated projects across the US. The ideal candidate will have experience building out large scale retail locations.

Everyone on our team has a part to play

  • Provide project & cost management for all projects & oversee staff to complete project assignments in accordance with project work plans
  • Create & manage a project life cycle, including project scheduling, sub-contractor management & relationships
  • Work as part of a multi-skilled team, including but not limited to vendors, supplier, designers, operations & IT
  • Communicate daily with Development Director & weekly with Project Director to deliver appropriate progress reports & recommendations on sites & manage sportsbook development process from conception to opening
  • Analyze, manage & mitigate risks on projects
  • Manage external consultants, suppliers & contractors to provide consistent high-quality service across the retail estate by service providers
  • Coordinate, monitor & communicate overall project activities, including company policies & guidelines, contractual scope, scheduling & budget requirements, between design professionals, construction, real estate & suppliers that are involved in the planning & construction of company projects
  • Be trusted to use project management tools that are applicable for construction PM
  • Development & implementation of new retail innovations for sportsbooks, process improvements, cost reduction & cost effectiveness initiatives
  • Ensure permits, inspections, legal requirements & code compliance with relevant Building & Health & Safety Regulations are met & maintained
  • Ensure all projects are completed to a high standard with minimal scope creep
  • Coordinate geographically dispersed projects
  • Other duties as assigned

What were looking for in our next teammate

  • Bachelors Degree, preferably in Construction Management, Construction/Building Science, Engineering, Business Management, Architecture or Design
  • PMP, CMAA or CCM Certifications preferred
  • Must be able to obtain & maintain a gaming license & satisfy all regulatory requirements
  • Proven working experience in design & project management in a retail environment
  • Experience in Sportsbooks, licensed premises is a plus
  • Efficient & effective communication with key stakeholders
  • Advanced knowledge of construction management processes, means & methods, relevant rules, regulations & quality standards
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office programs including Word, Excel & PowerPoint
  • Experience with AutoCAD is required
  • Strong communication skills capable of controlling & maintaining fluid & effective communication data with contractors, vendors, clients, & within our company
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment
