Team Overview:

As Compass experiences massive growth, we are looking for the best & brightest to join our Finance team to drive strategic business decisions. The Vice President, Customer Success & Operations will assume full ownership of the Commission Services, Financial Incentives, Listings Service, & Transaction Operations teams across the U.S. This individual will architect systems & process solutions that will enable us to scale our rapidly growing operations & better serve our agents. In addition, they will drive the strategic analysis that will enable our agent teams to visualize & enhance their business while facilitating smooth execution of revenue-generating operations for the whole company.

What you will do:

  • Lead a key-client facing function & develop a growing team
  • Develop & execute strategies for enhancing financial operations through new systems & processes across all regions (15,000+ agents & 250+ offices nationwide)
  • Drive analysis & insight platforms for both regional leaders & agents to understand their business & grow their top-line
  • Oversee a team managing all transaction-related activity, including processing signed contracts, closing transactions in the system, issuing commission payments, processing referrals, & handling agent issues & requests
  • Oversee all agent expense operations including but not limited to invoicing, budgeting, & agent data collection
  • Build relationships with Regional Presidents/Sales Manager & work with them to efficiently & accurately operate our financial systems & commission disbursements & real estate transaction coordination
  • Spearhead initiatives to improve the experience for our agents with finance at Compass
  • Assume responsibility for the accuracy & integrity of recorded revenue & commission payouts
  • Work closely with our Product team to leverage technology to design & build a best-in-class deal payment process

Who you are:

  • BS degree in business (or related field) with strong academic record
  • 10+ years of cross functional operational experience
  • Strong leadership & mentorship skills
  • Significant people management & project management experience
  • Experience scaling & leading customer success & process improvementsh
  • Systems implementation experience a plus
  • Exceptional communication skills
  • Strong problem resolution & quantitative skills
  • Strong organizational skills & impeccable attention to detail
  • Self-starter, positive attitude, & ability to problem-solve with minimal supervision
  • Excited to work in a fast-paced growing environment
