Position Overview

Daily Harvest is looking for a rockstar Office Manager for our New York City headquarters. You will make sure team members are comfortable, the office is stocked, the coffee is brewed, visitors are greeted, proper COVID-19 protocol is followed, & that all events in the office are a success. You will execute a broad range of office duties in a fast-paced, startup environment, driving procedures as well as positively influencing our company culture.  

Your role is critical as you will create & maintain an excellent work environment, ensuring high levels of organization, efficiency, & team member satisfaction. We are seeking an energetic professional who enjoys wearing multiple hats, & who can provide a wide range of administrative & executive support with minimal supervision. Our ideal candidate will be a well-organized, flexible, motivated, & positive person who enjoys the opportunity to make a difference in every team members office experience.

What youll do:

Manage the Office:

  • Ensure the lights are on, coffee is brewed, supplies are stocked & conference rooms are clean & usable every day
  • Manage the overall presentation & organization of the office & ensure it runs efficiently
  • Order all office supplies & food, ensuring the kitchen is stocked each day
  • Answer incoming calls
  • Aid in the planning & execution of our Return To Office initiative, including but not limited to, implementing new COVID-19 policies & SOPs, ensuring the health & safety of everyone in the office
  • Act as the main point of contact with all HQ support vendors including building management, cleaning services, office plant services, etc.
  • Handle all facilities issues with building management as needed
  • Work closely with IT to ensure all technology in the office is up & running smoothly at all times including desk reservation system for remote team members 
  • Support the success of our new Hybrid Workplace Model by ensuring a consistent level engagement among in office + remote team members

Employee Engagement:

  • Manage office activities & events
  • Support employee engagement & wellness events

Support the People Team:

  • Be the initial face of DH to visitors, including investors, VIPs, & candidates
  • Create a great candidate experience 
  • Help with the onboarding of new hires
  • Be an ambassador for our company culture
  • Work on office improvement & employee engagement projects

Who you are:

  • Bachelors Degree (preferred)
  • Previous work experience (4+ years) required
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced startup environment is a must
  • Passion for planning engaging & fun events
  • A proactive mindset. You recognize the needs of the office & employees prior to requests
  • Ability to take direction, use discretion & communicate with manager when escalation is needed
  • Strong communication skills. You can communicate effectively with team members & stakeholders, maintaining a professional demeanor
  • Self direction, the ability to work independently
  • Project management skills, creative problem solving, & are able to follow through
