Field Sales is the regionalized in-market sales team for CarGurus serving high MRR value mid-market & enterprise customers. This sales team is the tip-of-the-spear on major initiatives & GTM strategies using relationships to provide deep & wide sales & services to the segments customer base. As one of the main revenue drivers within CarGurus, Field Sales has the unique advantage of its sales teams residing within their marketplace for consistent in-person customer inter-actions from quarterly business reviews to negotiations to simple cold calling.
This is a full-time, paid, Summer 2022 Intern position. Must be eligible to work 40 hours a week from June 2022 August 2022.
What Youll Do:
- Analyze data to help provide Field Sales Leadership with information to make important tactical or strategic decisions. Spend time in-market to see firsthand what customer meetings are all about. Work with cross-functional account management arm of Field Sales to understand the customer service segment deeper.

- A curious, driven, self-starter with strong ideas who is interested in understanding how revenue is both brought into a business as well as pro-actively prevented from churning out of the business. You love data analysis as a means of helping inform decisions & what to test your skills in a real-world environment.
