Hi, we're Oscar. We're hiring a Product Manager to join our Care Delivery team.

About the role

Oscar Product is a growing, fast-paced team using technology & design to revolutionize healthcare. As a Product Manager, you'll play a key role in helping Oscar solve problems & accelerating your team's execution. You'll have the opportunity to work on a range of high impact problems related to how Oscar members get care, focusing on the full patient experience from booking an appointment through receiving care & follow-up.

In this role, you'll join our Oscar Care Tech team, which is focused on Oscar's Virtual Care experience from both a provider & patient perspective. Our virtual care offerings provide Oscar members access to providers for urgent & primary care virtually. Your focus will be on delivering exceptional experiences to patients before, during & after their televisits & managing their goals & follow-up care between visits.

You will report to a Senior Director of Product. This is a hybrid role. You will work part of the time in the New York City office & part of the time work-from-home/remote. #LI-Hybrid

The base pay for this role is $136,000 - $178,500 per year. You are also eligible for employee benefits, company equity grants & annual performance bonuses.


  • Create the vision, strategy, & roadmap for future product investments in our Oscar Care patient experience.
  • Define the business & user goals of a product team focused on helping our members obtain care through virtual urgent & primary care.
  • Work with engineers, product managers, & other company partners to create product requirement documents & implement features.
  • Ensure your projects are progressing smoothly, while weighing the trade-offs among speed, scalability, simplicity, & quality.
  • Produce insights from data & user research to help you identify potential improvements.
  • Coordinate & organize work across multiple perspectives & functions within Oscar.


  • Comfortable with complex systems. You know how to analyze & decompose a complex system into its member parts, & how to communicate that complexity simply & cleanly.
  • Great at prioritizing. There are a million ways to make the healthcare experience better - we can't fix all of them at once! Where will you start & why?
  • A researcher. You can think creatively about how to get the information you need to prove or disprove your hypothesis using user research or data (hard data skills like SQL plus).
  • Collaborative. You love helping engineers, designers, operations experts, & other teams around you do their best work. You are always driving towards a decision.
  • Experienced. You have worked directly with engineers in product management roles for 2+ years.

Bonus Points

  • Previous experience working with clinical workflows and/or virtual care
  • Previous experience building consumer facing web & mobile applications

Pay Transparency: 

Final offer amounts, within the base pay set forth above, are determined by factors including your relevant skills, education, & experience.
