Analytics Specialist (Jet.com, Hoboken, NJ)
Provide strategic, analytic, & business intelligence support, build & automate dashboards & reports for the vertical retail teams & larger retail, marketing, & customer analytics departments. Detect root causes of changes in metrics & effectively communicate these insights to different audiences. Use data & analysis to uncover & identify problems & areas of improvement in profitability, assortment, pricing, & supply chain as it related to the vertical assigned. Partner with general managers & category owners & leaders to uncover challenges in each line of business, create data-driven solutions, solve complex problems, & influence business strategies & decisions. Conduct in-depth research & provide quantitative analysis to evaluate new projects & business opportunities by defining metrics & frameworks. Partner with the larger data science & core analytics team to develop solutions to improve internal workflows & tooling.
Minimum Requirements: Bachelors degree or the equivalent in Information Systems, Mathematics, Finance, Economics, Engineering (Any) or related quantitative field & 3years of quantitative analysis experience. Experience with SQL. Experience with Tableau. Experience with Excel. Retail experience. Experience with Data modeling. Experience with large, complex, multi-dimensional datasets. Marketing analysis experience. Financial analysis experience. Customer analysis experience. Employer will accept any amount of experience with the required skills.
