About the role
The Senior Director, Strategic Finance & Corporate Development is responsible for in-depth financial management, analysis, & strategic insights on Oscars overall business. This role is responsible for cross-functionally managing & driving our companys Operating Committee to ensure the business is executing against its financial targets. This position requires a balance of strong financial acumen & insight generation with cross-functional collaboration skills used effectively across the business key stakeholders & other financial partners.
You will report to the Senior Vice President, Deputy CFO.

Pay Transparency:
The base pay for this role in the states of California, Connecticut, New Jersey, New York, & Washington is: $192,000 - $252,000 per year. The base pay for this role in all other locations is: $172,800 - $226,800 per year. You are also eligible for employee benefits, participation in Oscars unlimited vacation program, company equity grants & annual performance bonuses .
Responsibilities
- Operating Plan Development:
- Develop & track multi-year enterprise-wide Operating Plan, informed by enterprise Strategic Plan. Monitor progress against Operating Plan key metrics, own Operating Committee agendas, & drive follow ups to completion with critical stakeholders
- Corporate Development:
- Drive all corporate development efforts including evaluation of inorganic opportunities, including mergers & acquisitions, & potential strategic partnerships
- Financial & Capital Modeling:
- Lead long-term enterprise-wide financial & capital modeling efforts to help make strategic decisions around future growth initiatives & opportunities
- Strategic Initiative Evaluation:
- Provide quantitative & qualitative evaluation of strategic growth initiatives, including new markets & business lines in conjunction with the Corporate Strategy team
- Capital Markets:
- Support capital markets activity & Treasury team including potential equity & debt capital markets transactions based on business needs
- Leadership & Collaboration:
- Develop, manage, & coach a high performing Strategic Finance & Corporate Development team.
- Collaborate & influence effectively with executive business line owners & Finance Leadership
- Compliance with all applicable laws & regulations
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- 12+ years in analytical financial roles, with 5+ of those years being within a public company
- 8+ years of demonstrated ability using expert financial modeling skills to effectively translate data into actionable insights, strategies, & financial plans.
- 5+ years of corporate development experience
- 5+ years experience collaborating & influencing at the executive level
Bonus Points
- Experience in the similar roles, strategy consulting, or financial services background, e.g., private equity, venture capital, investment banking
- Healthcare experience & market knowledge strongly preferred

Pay Transparency: Final offer amounts, within the base pay set forth above, are determined by factors including your relevant skills, education, & experience.
