Our flagship product Vocal is a social publishing platform that provides storytelling tools and engaged communities for creators and brands.
We're looking for a Business Strategy and Operations Associate, someone who will make our team stronger and be accretive to Jerrick's culture. As a data analyst, your mission is to synthesize data into actionable insights. You will study Vocal's user behavior, strategic initiatives, product features and content performance to inform business and product decisions.

What you'll do:
-Interpret data and analytics, set up reports, and make strategic decisions to improve results - you will study Vocal user behavior, content, product features and Jerrick's internal data infrastructure
-Develop and implement data analysis metrics, data collection systems, and other strategies that optimize statistical efficiency and quality
-Maintain clear records and databases
Identify, analyze, interpret, and disseminate patterns in complex data sets
-Filter and simplify data by reviewing reports and performance indicators to locate and rectify problems
-Work with Jerrick's executive office team to prioritize business and information needs
-Locate and define opportunities to improve existing processes
The ideal candidate is:
-Passionate about and familiar with the core business of technology and media business strategy
-In possession of technical expertise regarding data -models, database design development, data mining, and segmentation techniques
-Analytically-minded; someone who is comfortable with data, is results-driven, and can navigate through ambiguity
-Excellent with time management, with a keen ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
-Knowledgeable about statistics and experienced in using statistical packages for analyzing data sets (including Excel and Google's suite of analytics tools, including Google Tag Manager)
-1-2 years of professional or internship experience
-Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Business, Economics, Statistics, IT Systems, or a related field
