As a Senior Manager, Retention Marketing,  your key responsibility will be to own execution & help guide strategy for the retention arm of our CLEAR Plus lifecycle marketing team. CLEAR Plus is our in-airport paid subscription product that enables frictionless, predictable travel experiences for millions of members. This function is designed to increase retention & engagement of CLEAR Plus members across email, push notifications, & in-app messaging. Key areas of focus include: sizing, projecting, & analyzing the impact of initiatives on key business metrics such as retention, trial conversion rate, family attach rate, winback rate & revenue; creating & maintaining campaigns & workflow strategy including offer, cadence, & audience testing; promo code creation & replication; creative ideation & iteration, including creative optimization w/ the help of internal creative resources. We are a data driven organization, & this role will rely heavily on leveraging our robust infrastructure to help guide strategy & make informed decisions. You will collaborate with all parts of the business (finance, operations, creative, product marketing, analytics) to create & execute strategies that engage & retain active CLEAR Plus members, & win back canceled members. You will report into our VP of Marketing, & will have regular direct exposure to Senior Leadership including our CEO & President.


What You Will Do:

  • Manage end-to-end development & execution of data-driven CRM initiatives, including forecasting campaign impact, driving the creative review process with designers & copywriters, identifying target audience segments, & reporting on campaign performance
  • Use tools like Looker to query for member data & and size the projected impact of your CRM strategies on key business metrics like revenue, retention & conversion rate
  • Analyze campaign results, develop benchmarks, & create & share regular performance reports that are communicated to Senior Leadership. You will love this job if marketing analytics excites you!
  • Create detailed customer journey flows with actionable trigger points to drive conversion & engagement
  • Establish a strong working relationship with cross-functional stakeholders in our finance, operations, creative, product marketing, analytics teams
  • Create the strategy & framework for testing in CRM channels

Who You Are:

  • 5+ years experience in Retention Marketing, Email Marketing or CRM Operations; B2C subscription experience is a plus
  • Expertise with CRM technology including Marketing Automation platforms & CRM tools (e.g. Iterable, Salesforce, Salesforce Marketing Cloud)
  • Experience with HTML is a plus
  • Experience with BI tools such as Looker or Tableau is a plus
  • Highly motivated with an entrepreneurial spirit & ability to work independently, while also able to build strong internal relationships & consensus on initiatives
  • Passion for customer experience & increasing the value of customers
  • Strong analytical skills; able to create data-driven marketing strategies & campaigns end to end
  • Strong stakeholder management & interpersonal skills
  • Bachelor's degree required
